Company officials held a press briefing during the GSE Expo Europe to introduce the vehicle, call out specific features and demo the unit.
The vehicle’s operator has the ability to drive, maneuver and spray from the cab, utilizing a spraying and blending system designed to reduce fluid consumption. Textron GSE officials also noted its partnership with Equipmake to incorporate an electric drivetrain in the Safeaero 220E. Additionally, the 220E’s user interface inside the cab provides access to data and troubleshooting needs.
