Eighth Triennial International Fire and Cabin Safety Research Conference

This conference is sponsored by international aviation authorities: United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS). Topic areas will include: aircraft cabin safety and evacuation issues, crash dynamics including studies focusing on aircraft-level crash impact performance and studies on new and emerging occupant injury criteria, fire safety sessions will include research on lithium battery fire hazards and mitigation, engine/powerplant fire protection, cabin/cockpit fires, magnesium use in aircraft cabins, cargo fire protection, development of new test methods for Appendix F, and advanced fire research. Registration is free and open to anyone with an interest in these topic areas - advance registration is required. The conference will be held at Tropicana Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey, USA.
