In recent years, China has accelerated the pace of aero engine development, from the initial modified imitation to independent design and manufactures some aircraft engine. However, the development of commercial aircraft engine in China also faces many new difficulties and challenges such as hollow wide chord fan blade (titanium alloy or composite material) manufacturing technology, the blisk manufacturing and repair technology, single crystal hollow turbine blade manufacturing technology, floating wall combustion chamber manufacturing technology, airworthiness certification and other issues still exist technological difficulty and so on.
