Boca Raton-based DayJet Corp. has started offering per-seat service at St. Lucie County International Airport, county officials announced Friday.
The air-taxi company added plane charter service at the airport in October, and the new per-seat option will give business travelers more flexibility, Airport Director Diana Lewis said.
DayJet has said it's considering the airport for a DayPort, which would include a ticket counter and local staff. Boca Raton, Gainesville, Lakeland, Pensacola and Tallahassee are now the only DayPorts.
