AirTran Airways (NYSE: AAI) has implemented NetTracer, a web-based baggage tracing and claims management system developed by The Owens Group International.
NetTracer provides a search engine to improve baggage tracing and claims processing for both passengers and airline employees and it is built with the same architecture as websites Yahoo and Google. NetTracer also makes use of a Google-like search mechanism and a web interface.
No financial details have been disclosed.
