Frontier launches new service between Denver and Wichita

Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: FRNT) has launched direct service between Denver International Airport and Wichita Mid-Continent Airport.

The airline said that the service, operated three times daily, will initially be served by 76-seat Embraer E-170 aircraft. Once given Federal Aviation Authority (FAA) approval, Wichita will be served by Lynx Aviation, a subsidiary of Frontier Airlines Holdings Inc, with 74-seat Q400 aircraft.

Lynx employees will be providing customer service support in Wichita from the launch of the new service.
