Manufacturer of general aviation aircraft Cessna Aircraft Company, a business unit of Textron Inc (NYSE: TXT), announced on Wednesday (19 September) that JetAlliance, a charter operator in Europe and Cessna's authorised sales representative for Russia and Eastern Europe, has placed an order for 10 Citation business jets. The order, valued at USD105m, comprises of one CJ1+, two CJ2+, two CJ3, three XLS+ and two Sovereign aircraft. Deliveries under the order are expected to take place in 2009 and 2010. Cessna said that this order follows a previous order by JetAlliance for 25 Citation business jets in May 2007.
