A multi-year participating carrier agreement has been signed between Worldspan and US Helicopter.
Worldspan is to offer marketing and distribution of its full content to US Helicopter's points of sale globally, along with e-ticketing and interline e-ticketing (IET) services. US Helicopter in return is to upgrade its participation to Worldspan Airline Source for optimum GDS connectivity and performance and make its schedules, availability and fares and e-ticketing and IET capabilities available to Worldspan customers worldwide in March, along with launching the carrier as an ARC participating airline.
According to Jerry Murphy, CEO and president of US Helicopter, 'Our partnership with Worldspan allows us to provide travel buyers worldwide with efficient access to our inventory, and the highest levels of security, accuracy and reliability for every transaction. Extending our offerings through Worldspan enables US Helicopter to be a state-of-the-art distributor and travel service provider for our growing customer base.'
Kevin Ficco, vice president-Airline Distribution and Business Development for Worldspan, stated, 'Worldspan is pleased to expand its relationship with US Helicopter and to add them to our group of valued customers.
