AirTran Airways (NYSE: AAI) is to add direct service between Raleigh/Durham, NC and Orlando, Florida from 14 February 2008.
The carrier also said it will offer more direct seasonal flights between Orlando and Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, as well as Rochester, New York. With these additions AirTran Airways said it will offer up to 64 daily departures from Orlando to 32 direct destinations.
AirTran said it will use Boeing 717s on the Raleigh-Durham to Orlando route.
