Horizon Air has said it will offer new once-daily, direct service between San Jose and Palm Springs, California from 4 November through 6 April 2008.
Additionally, Horizon said it will add a direct service between Portland, Oregon and Palm Springs for the winter season to supplement Alaska Airlines' seasonal direct flight between the two cities. Horizon's flight on this route will also run from 4 November through 6 April 2008.
The new service will reportedly be operated with 70-seat CRJ-700 regional jets.
