ExpressJet unveils new flights from Bakersfield to Sacramento and Spokane

Two new route openings, providing service from Bakersfield to Sacramento and Spokane, have been unveiled by ExpressJet Airlines (NYSE:XJT), an airline serving North America and the Caribbean and a subsidiary of ExpressJet Holdings.

ExpressJet said its new non-stop service starts on 9 September, with Bakersfield to Sacramento International Airport (SMF) flight XE202 departing 07:00, arriving 08:05; and Sacramento to Bakersfield flight AM XE205, departing 18:35, arriving 19:37; local time.

The airline confirmed that customers on the Sacramento flights can also continue on the same aircraft onto Spokane International Airport (GEG), with flight XE202 arriving into Spokane at 10:30 and XE 205 departing Spokane at 16:15, local time.

ExpressJet claimed the market has responded positively to the introduction of non-stop flights to San Diego and said the new flights provide more time-saving service to Sacramento and Spokane.
