Stockholm Skavsta Airport in Sweden said on Thursday (14 June) that the Irish low-cost airline Ryanair will open 13 new routes from the airport in October 2007.
Ryanair is increasing its base at Skavsta with two new Boeing 737-800s to a total of six aircraft, the airport said.
The new routes include Bratislava (Vienna), Malta, Porto, Alicante, Berlin and Salzburg.
Ryanair (ISEQ:RYA, LSE:RYA, NASDAQ:RYAAY) is an Irish airline headquartered in Dublin. The company's biggest operational base is at London's Stansted Airport. Ryanair is the largest airline in Europe in terms of passenger numbers.
