Airbus has received a firm order for 15 single-aisle A320 planes from Chile's LAN Airlines, the European aircraft maker said Wednesday.
The order confirms options booked by LAN in October 2005.
Financial details were not disclosed for the order, worth about $1 billion at catalog prices.
Airbus is a wholly owned subsidiary of European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co.
