If you work at Pinnacle Airlines, creativity just touched a new high.
When the employees decided they wanted to decorate the company's training rooms named for attractions around town, they set off on weeks of internal fund-raising, including Rootbeer Float Day, Casual Day - even a Pinnacle Pilates Day.
The decorating was judged this week by outside experts.
The winner? The University of Memphis Tigers Room, featuring a 21-foot by 9-foot hand-painted mural of the campus with a Pinnacle jet overhead, plus pawprints, Tiger logo and signed photos from celebrity graduates.
"The winners received the right to wear jeans on Fridays for a month, a 50-cent gold medal from Target and the respect of all the Pinnacle people for exhibiting the true spirit of teamwork and dedication," said Phil Reed, head of corporate marketing.
