Aviapartner is proud to announce that it has signed a contract with Hainan Airlines, one of the largest airlines from the People’s Republic of China, for the provision of cargo handling and catering services in Brussels.
Hainan Airlines started operating four weekly flights between Brussels-Beijing/Shanghai, in code share with SN Brussels Airlines, on 20 July 2006, with Boeing 767-300 ER aircraft.
Aviapartner Cargo’s reputation for providing qualitative cargo handling services with a high degree of flexibility was determining in Hainan Airlines’ choice. Another important factor was Aviapartner’s extensive European network, and the fact that Aviapartner Cargo can truck the Chinese airline’s import cargo and handle it in the whole of Europe, even beyond Aviapartner’s 32 station network. Aviapartner offers the airline a single point of contact for a network of preferred handling suppliers throughout Europe, which have been selected according to very stringent quality criteria in line with Aviapartner’s traditionally high standards for quality.
Aviapartner Cargo provides the complete range of cargo handling services to Hainan Airlines, including warehousing, ULD build-up and breakdown, inventory control, documentation for import and export, customs clearance, cargo transport to and from aircraft, tracing, airfreight trucking services, dangerous goods and live animal handling, and cargo security.
Aviapartner Catering will provide a combination of Western and authentic Chinese meals for the business and economy classes of Hainan Airlines. The Chinese carrier was particularly impressed with the quality, creativity and knowledge of the Eastern cuisine of Aviapartner Catering.
Theo Dilissen, CEO of Aviapartner: “This long-haul flight contract is a wonderful addition to our portfolio in Brussels, adding welcome volumes to our catering and cargo activities! Aviapartner Cargo and Aviapartner Catering are looking forward to working for this new customer from the Far East”!
