Interior Minister Rehman Malik Saturday said air service would be launched soon in different main districts of Azad Jammu Kashmir to ensure air link with rest of the country and abroad.
Addressing a public meeting after inaugurating a passport office at Islamgarh town in outskirts of Mirpur city, he said a full-fledged international airport will be constructed in Mirpur to facilitate lacs of overseas Kashmiris especially those dwelling in Britain with the direct air-travelling facilities to their ancestral district of Mirpur.
The Minister said to provide quick facilities of issuance of passports to the aspirants in the remote areas of AJK, passport offices will also be established in Bhimbher and Neelam valley districts similar to the newly-established passport office in Islamgarh town of Mirpur district.
