Boise, Idaho, September 15, 2011 – Western Aircraft, a Greenwich AeroGroup Company, recently completed an installation of the Garmin GTN 650 and GTN 750 GPS/COMM/NAV System along with the Garmin remote audio panel, remote transponder and GDL-69A XM weather receiver on a Pilatus PC-12.
The newly released system features touchscreen operation, graphical weather remote transponder, remote audio control (750 series only), Safe Taxi and electronic chart capabilities (750 series only).
Previously, Western Aircraft had completed a Garmin GTN 750 install; this is the first Garmin GTN 650/750 install for the facility.
Greenwich AeroGroup has a GTN 650/GTN 750 combo demo unit mounted in a portable enclosure that allows aircraft operators to experience the system’s new touch screen technology. Demos can be arranged by contacting Western Aircraft, Atlantic Aero or Summit Aviation.
