LONG BEACH, CA September 1, 2011 – JetFlite International (JFI) announced that veteran aircraft technicians Joe Cupaiolo and Adam Delhotal have joined the organization as maintenance managers overseeing all maintenance of JFI’s Farmingdale New York based aircraft.
“We are very pleased to have two experienced aircraft technicians the caliber of Joe Cupaiolo and Adam Delhotal join our team,” said Bill Cripe, JFI’s chief executive officer. “Their skills and experience compliment our existing staff and they provide the management and leadership depth to support the growth in maintenance we do at Farmingdale. They are both well known and respected in the aviation industry.
“We have ramped up our maintenance staff in anticipation of our pending FAR Part 145 certification.”
For nearly 20 years, JetFlite International (www.jfijets.com) has been a provider of aircraft management and charter services worldwide. Since 1998 JFI has offered aircraft maintenance on mid- to large-size jets, including Challengers, Citations and Gulfstreams. JFI maintains bases at Long Beach Airport (LGB) in southern California, Farmingdale Republic Airport (FRG) on Long Island, NY, and in Moscow.
Cupaiolo and Delhotal will share responsibilities including the maintenance availability of JFI aircraft, including scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, maintenance control and planning, quality control and quality assurance and the inventory and logistics supporting the Farmingdale maintenance operation.
Cupaiolo has more than 30 years experience in aircraft maintenance. For 18 years prior to joining JFI he was a crew chief at Excel Airways working on Gulfstream, Embraer, Hawker, and LearJet aircraft.
Prior to joining JFI, Delhotal worked for JetBlue Airways as an aircraft technician working on the Airbus A320 and Embraer E-190 aircraft. Before that he was the lead technician for D&K Aviation in Farmingdale where he worked on Challengers, Gulfstreams, Learjets and Hawkers. Early in his career he was a maintenance technician with Garrett Aviation on Long Island.
