PEACHTREE CITY, GA May 2011 - Dixie Aerospace, a Wencor Group company, is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with AAR CORP. to acquire its PMA parts product line, including all PMA inventory and associated intellectual property. Dixie Aerospace also entered into a long-term sales, distribution and new parts development agreement whereby Dixie Aerospace will provide PMA parts on a preferred supplier basis. Dixie Aerospace will work with AAR’s customers on new PMA development opportunities.

The acquired PMAs complement our system focus nicely, offering significant coverage in the landing gear, engine, and interior systems. This allows us to provide even more PMAs to our customers through the same services and interface they are accustomed to seeing from all Wencor Group companies.”
With the addition of these PMA parts, customers will have access to Wencor Group’s portfolio of over 4,000 PMA parts. This broader product line and increased scope of coverage will lead to increased PMA part development opportunities and reduced time-to-market for new PMA parts.
