FlightSafety's Training Programs Certified by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in Mexico

LaGuardia Airport, New York (April 29, 2010) – FlightSafety International is pleased to announce the certification of its training programs by The Directorate General of Civil Aviation in Mexico.

This certification of FlightSafety as an approved training organization by the DGCA in Mexico includes the agency’s validation of FlightSafety’s Part 142 single certificate issued by the United States Federal Aviation Administration.

“The review by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in Mexico of FlightSafety’s training and the resulting certification, further demonstrates the quality of our comprehensive programs and commitment to serve and support our Customers in Mexico,” said Scott Fera, Vice President Marketing.

Hector Gonzalez Weeks, Director General of the DGAC, and Miguel Angel Ramirez Lemus, Director of Safety and Civilian Aviation, presented the certificate to Willy Vargas on March 5, 2010. Willy leads a team that serves and supports FlightSafety’s Customers in Mexico, Central America, Venezuela and Peru.
