PARIS --
Air France says its only A380 superjumbo jet is grounded in New York because of a technical glitch, its second in less than a month.
Air France spokeswoman Marina Tymen said Tuesday the 511 passengers who were to have flown to Paris on Monday night from John F. Kennedy Airport were put up in hotels and are getting other flights.
Tymen says the issue is being investigated by maintenance personnel, and that initial signs point to a fuel line problem. It is not clear when the plane will take off.
Air France is the first European owner of Airbus's biggest plane, which is already flown by Singapore Airlines, Emirates and Australia's Qantas.
Last month the aircraft was forced to return to New York's JFK airport 90 minutes into a flight because of a technical glitch.
