Burnsville, MN – October 20, 2009 - Aerosim Technologies, the recognized leader in low cost, hi-fidelity simulation software training products within the aviation industry, announced today that Bombardier has selected Aerosim to provide additional, quality training products for its Montreal training Center. Bombardier is a world-leading manufacturer of innovative transportation solutions, from commercial aircraft and business jets to rail transportation equipment, systems and services.
Aerosim will provide Bombardier’s Montreal training center products to offload training events from a full flight simulator to a lower cost training platform for the CL605, a top end corporate aircraft. They will use Aerosim’s Virtual Procedure Trainer™ and its desktop counterpart, the Virtual Flight Deck™, for crew training.
In addition, for commercial air transport Bombardier has purchased a Flight Management System Trainer (FMST) for the CRJ1000 aircraft. This complements product that they have previously purchased from Aerosim for the CRJ200/700/900.

The Virtual Procedure Trainer™ (VPT™) is a reconfigurable crew training device designed to optimize training time and improve the learning process for pilots and maintenance personnel. The VPT can combine customized courseware with simulation to actively engage students in the learning process. Theory, practice, technical details, operational issues and human factors are brought together in a realistic environment.
The Virtual Flight Deck (VFD™) is a full simulation of your aircraft’s specific flight deck brought to life on a PC. With the VFD, pilot and maintenance technician trainees can scan, view and operate all panels, controls, indicators and displays within the flight deck.
The Aerosim FMST is a PC-based training device that allows students to perform pre-flight and in-flight FMS, autopilot, EFIS and navigation procedures while operating in a structured learning or true free-play training environment.
