Euravia Engineering has signed a five-year contract with the Royal Netherlands Air Force for the repair and overhaul of PT6A-25C engines installed on its fleet of Pilatus PC-7 aircraft.
The Pilatus PC-7s operated by the RNLAF have a key role in the training of fighter pilots at the Elementary Flight School (Elementaire Vlieger Opleiding).
Steve Clarkson, Euravia’s Customer Services Director said: “The RNLAF is a long standing customer of Euravia and we are delighted that they have not only decided to renew their time and material R&O contract with Euravia, but have also awarded it for a period of 5 years (previously it was 3 years). For the first time, the contact has also been awarded to include engines, hot section inspections and accessories.
"This is the fourth consecutive contract that Euravia has been awarded by RNLAF. This award demonstrates Euravia’s ability to deliver sustainable reliability to its Customers and is testimony to the innovative and cost effective solutions offered to the RNLAF by Euravia.”
