Chromalloy Names General Manager at Holland Turbine Engine Operation

Jos Oude Egberink has been named general manager of Chromalloy's Holland, Netherlands, operation.

ORANGEBURG, N.Y., August 18, 2009 – Chromalloy, a leader in advanced repairs, services and Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) replacement parts for gas turbine engines, today named Jos Oude Egberink as General Manager of its Holland, Netherlands, operation.

“Chromalloy’s service operation in Holland provides repairs, manufacturing and coatings for a wide variety of gas turbine engine components,” said Scott Ransley, Chromalloy Vice President, Operations, Commercial Repair & Overhaul. “Jos brings forward-thinking vision and demonstrated success to the operation.”

Oude Egberink has been the operation’s acting General Manager since early 2008.

In addition to his leadership at the operation, Oude Egberink has several years of technical and operational experience, including his previous position at the operation as Director of Operations.

Prior to his work at Chromalloy, he worked at IBN Group as Unit Manager. He earlier worked as Plant and Site Manager for ERICO B.V., a unit of ERICO Worldwide, which produces patented metal fasteners, electrical products and building industry reinforcement supplies.

His career also includes leadership positions at Corus Unit Contiflo, a steel manufacturer and division of Tata Steel, and USHIO Europe, an industrial light manufacturer. He began his career at Fokker Aircraft, one of the oldest aircraft manufacturers, as a Production Manager.

In addition to the total turbine engine solutions offered at Holland, the operation offers customers PMA parts and advanced FAA-DER repairs to original equipment manufacturer (OEM) turbine engine components. Chromalloy operations offer customers the option of extending the life of their engine components and reducing engine maintenance costs.

With a global network of operations, Chromalloy is a supplier of advanced repairs and services for gas turbines used in aviation and land-based applications, repairs, and refurbishes and manufactures engine components.
