SEBRING, FL — National Rotax aircraft engine expert Phillip Lockwood has been enlisted to perform his engine seminar at the Arlington Fly-In and EAA Airventure 2009. Airshow organizers have learned that Lockwood's talks draw in attendees hungry for quality information on the most popular powerplant in the Light-Sport Aircraft field.
Using a computer slide show with dozens of detailed photos, Lockwood delivers his talk on Rotax engine operation, care, and maintenance. Exit interviews from his talks have show those who attend feel they get a great deal of expert information.
"This is the perfect introduction to operating and maintaining the Rotax 912 series engines for pilots and mechanics," says Lockwood, president of Lockwood Aviation Supply.
Lockwood will speak at the Arlington Fly-In on Friday, July 10, and Saturday, July 11, from 10:30-11:30 a.m. in forum tent B. He will speak at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh on Tuesday July 28, from 10:00-11:15 a.m. in the 008 NATCA Pavilion.
In his talks, Lockwood will answer such questions as:
