PARIS, FRANCE – Snecma Morocco Engine Services (SMES), which specialized in the MRO of CFM56-3, CFM56-7B, and shortly CFM56-5B engines, has been certified to the ISO 14001 standard for its environmental management system.
To achieve this certification, SMES made significant investments in the following areas: appropriate systems for waste evacuation and processing, selective sorting, supply, storage and use of chemical products, and staff training.
This certification is the culmination of extensive work by employees at the company's facility in Casablanca. SMES now deploys an environmental management system designed to efficiently manage risks and support continuous improvement.
The actions and investments made to improve environmental protection will continue in the coming years.
ISO 14001 certification also reflects Snecma Morocco Engine Services' constant focus on combining industrial growth and sustainable development.
