ALBUQUERQUE, NM -- Aspen Avionics Inc. announces that the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has issued the first European Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for Aspen products. This STC authorizes installation of the EFD1000 Primary Flight Display (PFD) into Cessna 206 series aircraft.
The STC was developed by Avionics Integration & Engineering Corporation, an EASA-certified Design Organization based in Switzerland. Rights to use this STC are available to qualified EASA Part 145 organizations.
