GREENSBORO, NC -- Piedmont Aviation Component Services, which provides aircraft maintenance services, plans to expand its operations in Kernersville.
The company will invest $5.8 million and create 120 jobs this year by relocating sister company Limco Airepair from Oklahoma to North Carolina, according to a news release today from Gov. Bev Perdue.
Limco provides repair and maintenance services to the aerospace industry and makes heat-transfer equipment for aircraft manufacturers. Piedmont Aviation, a subsidiary of Limco-Piedmont Inc., has its headquarters on East Mountain Street in Kernersville and another facility on Liberty Street in Winston-Salem.
