SIMSBURY, CT -- Global Jet Services Inc. has launched its E-learning course, Aircraft Electronics Technician (AET) Course 1 – "Basic Electronics." The highly interactive web course enables students to learn at their own pace from any location and gain Inspection Authorization and FAA Awards Program learning credit for eight hours. The course has also received recognition from National Center for Aerospace & Transportation Technologies (NCATT).

The Basic Electronics training will provide the participant with the basic skills necessary to accurately identify basic AC and DC terms, obtain an understanding of circuit theory calculations, troubleshooting, measurement, and the function of resistors. The training provides the participants the opportunity to perform circuit calculations, troubleshoot, and measure basic circuits. It will also provide the knowledge needed to determine the appropriate meter to use for measurement for a specific application along with proper use, storage, and safety practices.
The e-Learning site utilizes a Learning Management System (LMS) that allows students to track their courses, completion, and training history all compliant with AC 145-10 Repair Station Training Programs.
