John Konkel Director of International Sales and Marketing at Plank Enterprises Inc.

    In this capacity, Konkel will be responsible for overseeing strategic planning and enhancing international development for LDPI’s lines of industrial and commercial lighting fixtures and LPI’s personnel lifts and aerial work platforms.

    EAU CLAIRE, Wis., July 29, 2008 — Plank Enterprises, Inc., parent company of LDPI, Inc. and LPI, Inc., has announced the selection of John Konkel as director of international sales and marketing. In this capacity, he will be responsible for overseeing strategic planning and enhancing international development for LDPI’s lines of industrial and commercial lighting fixtures and LPI’s personnel lifts and aerial work platforms.

    Since 1998 Konkel served as an independent consultant for the Wisconsin Department of Commerce, International Division, where he assisted companies in international export. His business experience also includes working with Fortune 500 and Japanese joint venture companies, implementing product development throughout South America and Europe, as well as managing and strategic planning for global manufacturers.

    Konkel graduated with Masters degrees in Physics and Management from the College of Engineering at Purdue University. He and his family currently reside in Eau Claire, Wis.
