Ryanair on Sept. 7, launched its biggest ever Edinburgh summer schedule (2017), with 5 new routes to Barcelona G, Ibiza, Milan, Porto and Vigo, which will deliver 2.5m customers p.a. and support 1,800 jobs at Edinburgh Airport, as Ryanair grows its Edinburgh traffic by 8 percent in 2017 to over 2.5m p.a.
Ryanair’s Edinburgh S17 schedule will see more frequencies to sun destinations for summer family holidays, lower fares as Ryanair passes on lower fuel costs, and an even better customer experience, as it rolls out year 3 of its “Always Getting Better” customer experience programme, and will deliver:
- 5 new routes to: Barcelona Girona (2 wkly), Ibiza (2 wkly), Milan (5 wkly), Porto (2 wkly) & Vigo (2 wkly)
- New summer route to Warsaw (3 wkly)
- More flights to Palma (8 wkly), Rome (5 wkly) & Tenerife (5 wkly)
- 38 routes in total
- Over 2.5m customers p.a. (+100,000)
- 1,800 “on-site” jobs p.a.
Ryanair will continue to connect Edinburgh with major business centres on high frequency, low fare services including Dublin (3 daily) and London (4 daily), with better timings and lower fares, making Ryanair the ideal choice for Scottish business and leisure customers.
