Vino Volo Wine Bar Coming Soon to Halifax Stanfield

Passengers at Halifax Stanfield will have a new offering later this year. Halifax International Airport Authority (HIAA) is pleased to announce that Vino Volo will soon begin construction of a wine bar on the domestic/international departures level of Halifax Stanfield.

“We are delighted to welcome Vino Volo to our airport community,” says Jo-Anne McLean, HIAA Director, Air Service & Terminal Development. “This new wine bar will provide our passengers with new dining and beverage options while waiting for their flight.”

“The Vino Volo team is excited to add Halifax Stanfield to our growing footprint of Canadian locations,” says Marco Di Bernardo, VP of Development for Vino Volo. “We expect to impress travellers with a great selection of local, national and international wines and local craft beers along with a wine-country inspired food menu. Our guests will be able to enjoy our wines in tasting flights or by the glass in a fun, approachable way.”

Vino Volo will be located post-security on the domestic/international departures level, near gate 20, offering a panoramic view of the airfield.

Construction is scheduled to begin next week and an opening date is anticipated in November.
