NBL-E

Dec. 6, 2007
The NBL-E features a 15Kw asynchronous AC motor to handle the driving duty while a 4Kw DC electro-hydraulic pump is providing the hydraulic power for the steering system, lifting and rotation of the conveying belt. The driving motor is mated to a rear differential and the acceleration is controlled through a regulator which ensures a progressive control for safe driving. These motors are taking their energy from an 80 volts, 450 amps battery pack which allow the use of the belt loader for an average of 8 hours. The electric power source of these belt loaders have several advantages over internal combustion engines: cold weather start are quick and does not require any pre-heating, regular maintenance is reduced as there is no engine or transmission oil to replace, atmospheric pollution is non existent and noise levels are significantly reduced. The overall height of the electric motors also allows for a lower boom resting position which allows easier operation on low door sill airplane.
