Invitation for Business Plan

For the Provision of Into-plane Fuelling Services at Hong Kong International Airport

The Airport Authority (“the Authority”) is responsible for the management, operation and maintenance of Hong Kong International Airport (“the Airport”).

The Authority hereby invites interested organizations with proven experience and capability to submit Business Plan for the Provision of Into-plane Fuelling Services at the Airport.  Details of the invitation are spelled out in the Business Plan Specification Brief (“the Brief”).

Interested organization who wishes to tender for the above contract should write to Ms Alaina Shum, General Manager - Aviation Logistics, by facsimile (fax number (852) 2824-2786) on or before 29 November 2013 on its Company letterhead giving the name, address, telephone and fax number of the contact person to whom an appointment for the collection of the Brief could be made. 

The Brief will be available for collection at the Aviation Logistics Department’s office at L5, HKIA Tower, 1 Sky Plaza Road, Hong Kong International Airport, Lantau, Hong Kong from 2:00 p.m., 15 November 2013 upon appointment and payment of a Tender Deposit of HK $5,000 in the form of a cheque payable to “Airport Authority” drawn on a licensed bank in Hong Kong (please refer to the Brief for terms and conditions for refund of the Tender Deposit).  The Authority’s office hours are from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and 2:00 pm to 5:50 pm, Monday to Friday (except public holidays).  The Brief will not be emailed or faxed.

Business Plans in response to the invitation must be in compliance with the requirements set out in the Brief and be submitted and deposited into the Authority’s Tender Box as per the instructions set out in the Brief, no later than 12:00 (noon) on 20 January 2014 (Hong Kong time). 

All costs and expenses incurred for or in connection with any response to this invitation, including the preparation and/ or submission of the Business Plan, shall be entirely the responsibility of the applicants without recourse to the Authority.  The Authority is not bound to accept the highest tender or any tender and reserves the right to negotiate with any Tenderer.
