Manhattan Regional Airport Names New Director

Brandon Keazer has been promoted to director of the Manhattan Regional Airport.

Keazer has more than 12 years of airport experience, with the majority of that time spent specializing in airport operations and management. Previously, Keazer worked for the Metropolitan Topeka Airport Authority (MTAA), first serving as a sergeant in the police and fire department then transitioning to airport operations.

Canada Gets a New ULCC

Lynx Air announced its arrival as Canada’s newest ultra-affordable airline. Lynx will operate a fleet of Boeing’s newest 737 aircraft, featuring leading-edge fuel-efficient technology. The airline has firm orders and lease agreements in place for a total of 46 aircraft over the next seven years to meet anticipated demand. The first three Boeing 737s will arrive in early 2022.

Alliance Ground International Expands at PIT

Alliance Ground International (AGI) is expanding its operations at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT), Pennsylvania, with new ramp and warehouse operations.

AGI recently announced the expansion of operations at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), as well as new facilities at Newark and last month acquired Chicago-headquartered handler Maestro.

Airbus Announces Significant Jet Sale

Airbus received an order for 255 medium-haul jets, hailing its first major sale of the pandemic.

The four airlines receiving the planes are Hungary's Wizz Air, U.S. operator Frontier, Mexico's Volaris and the Chilean-Argentinian firm Jetsmart.

Lufthansa Technik Wins Royal Jordanian Contract

Royal Jordanian and Lufthansa Technik AG have signed an agreement regarding comprehensive component maintenance for the airline´s entire Airbus A320 family fleet. 

In line with TCS, Lufthansa Technik’s experts will take care of all aspects of supplying Royal Jordanian’s fleet with components, from initial provisioning studies and home base allocation at Amman’s Queen Alia International Airport to repair and overhaul, troubleshooting, documentation and engineering services.
