Freudenberg Sealing Technologies Simrit Awarded with Pattonair Gold Standard Award for Performance Excellence
PLYMOUTH, Mich., Dec. 17, 2013 – Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies Simrit has once again received the coveted Gold Supplier Award for customer service, technical support and delivery performance from Pattonair, a leading aerospace and defense supply chain service provider headquartered in the United Kingdom.
This is the third time Freudenberg-NOK has achieved Gold Supplier status with Pattonair since 2010. This year’s recognition was based, in large measure, upon the outstanding work and support that the company’s Lutterworth, U.K., Service Center provides to Pattonair. Freudenberg received the award during a recent Pattonair supplier conference.
“We are pleased to present Freudenberg’s industry organization with this recognition for a third year,” said Craig Pilling, commodity director, Pattonair. “This award represents the hard work and dedication of the Lutterworth facility, in particular, in supporting Pattonair over the past year. As a result of this dedication, Pattonair’s business has grown and will continue to grow. The Lutterworth team should take tremendous pride in this achievement.”
The Gold Standard Award incorporates stringent criteria in key areas including sustained delivery and quality performance in multiple work stream environments. Freudenberg‘s Lutterworth facility has provided critical engineering and product support to Pattonair since 2008. The facility supports the sealing needs of aerospace customers in areas of engines, landing gear, wheels and brakes and flight actuation systems.
“We are honored to receive this award from Pattonair as evidence of our commitment to exceptional customer support in the aerospace industry,” said Sean Morgan, global segment director, Aerospace, Freudenberg-NOK. “We are driven to help our customers succeed, and we look forward to further growing our relationship with Pattonair by continuing to dedicate ourselves to outstanding delivery, quality, and technical support in 2014 and beyond.”
