London, UK – September 4, 2017 – The recently relocated Sheffield laboratory operated by Element Materials Technology has been awarded the much coveted Nadcap accreditation for destructive testing services. Element now holds the highest number of Nadcap accredited laboratories of any independent materials testing company in the world.
This latest accreditation for the Aerospace laboratory covers high cycle fatigue testing, low cycle fatigue testing, chemistry, metallography and mechanical testing, including creep and stress rupture testing services.

Element Sheffield is equipped with the very latest technology including new high cycle and low cycle fatigue testing capabilities, an increased capacity in creep and stress rupture testing and expanded capacity in high temperature tensile testing. Further investments have also been made in the aerospace and medical device testing and chemistry lab facilities, which now feature increased capacity and larger scope.
