VJ-Advanced Series flexible videoscope from Titan Tool Supply is an articulating video borescope featuring on-board (stand-alone) image processing and battery-powered, portable operation. It has a high-resolution 3.5-inch TFT LCD screen (480 x 234 pixels) with a removable sun visor and 2X digital zoom function. The waterproof insertion tube has a diameter of 0.272 inch (6.9 mm) and features braided stainless-steel sheathing for resistance to oil, fuel, and 3.5 percent concentrated saltwater. Available models and insertion tube lengths include Model VJ-ADV x 1.5 (60 inches/1.5 m) and Model VJ-ADV x 3 (118 inches/3 m). The camera tip displays the temperature with lapse-time recording and temperature alarm display. A thumb-activated 360-degree joystick provides precise control of the articulating tip up to 90 degrees in every direction. It can be connected to a larger monitor or computer (via USB plug) for viewing still or video images and also features a MicroSD Card. Weighing 20 ounces (570 g), the videoscope uses four AA batteries, allowing it to run for approximately one and one-half hours.
