Chino, CA – Since the beginning of the year, Mooney has reactivated a dormant manufacturing facility into a thriving operation with more than 150 associates between its two domestic operations, Kerrville, Texas, the manufacturing headquarters and Chino, California, its global headquarters.
Mooney is now pleased to announce that it will open a third office in Beijing, China. The office is slated to open later this summer.

A seasoned international industry executive, Peter Claeys, has been appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing and will head the office in Bejing. Mr. Claeys comes from a rich background of business development over his 30-year career in Pan-China and Europe.
Mr. Claeys joins the Mooney executive team most recently from Honeywell Aerospace in Shanghai where, as a senior market analyst, he specialized in aviation market forecasting. Prior to this, he was the customer support director for Commercial Aircraft of
China (COMAC). Here, he oversaw customer research, branding, exhibition promotion and customer relationship management strategy.
Mr. Claeys’ background also includes posts with Executive Aviation Taiwan Corporation and the Aviation Education Foundation of Taiwan. Along with Chinese, Mr. Claeys is fluent in Dutch, French and English
