Lufthansa A350-900 Arriving to Numerous North American Destinations

This week Lufthansa began flights with its new, flagship long-haul aircraft – the Airbus A350-900 – from Munich to Denver.
Lufthansa began flights with its new, flagship long-haul aircraft – the  Airbus A350-900 – from Munich to Denver. Flight LH480 departed from Munich at 11:55 a.m. and will arrive in Denver at 2:25 p.m. local time. The return flight, LH481 departs from Denver at 4:10 p.m. and will arrive in Munich at 9:55 a.m. on the following day. This flight will frequent six times per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) between March 26 and June. As of July, there will be daily flights with the A350-900.Over the past few days, Lufthansa’s A350-900 also began flying to other U.S. gateways. On Friday, March 23, Lufthansa flight LH434 departed from Munich at 3:45 p.m. and arrived at Chicago O’Hare at 6:30 p.m. local time.The return flight, LH435, departed from Chicago at 09:20 p.m. and arrived in Munich at 12:55 p.m. on the following day. This flight will frequent between Chicago and Munich daily.The first A350-900 to service the Munich to Newark route arrived on Sunday, March 25. Flight LH412 departed from Munich at 4:30 p.m. and arrived in Newark at 6:55 p.m. local time. The return flight, LH413, departed from Newark at 08:45 p.m. and arrived in Munich at 10:30 a.m. on the following day. This flight between Newark and Munich will travel daily.On May 1, 2018, the A350-900 will be introduced on the Munich-Vancouver route . Flight LH476 will depart from Munich at 3:35 p.m. and will arrive in Vancouver at 4:45 p.m. local time. The return flight, LH477, will depart from Vancouver at 6:25 p.m. and will arrive in Munich at 1:20 p.m. on the following day. It uses 25 percent less kerosene, produces 25 percent fewer emissions and is significantly quieter on take-off.The aircraft has space for 293 passengers with 48 seats in Business Class, 21 in Premium Economy and 224 in Economy Class. At just under 18.4 feet wide, the cabin of the new Airbus is more spacious than comparable models of aircraft. Lufthansa’s A350-900 also offers a particularly pleasant cabin environment that makes the journey on board the aircraft even more pleasurable. In Business Class, passengers enjoy a self-service area where they can easily help themselves to snacks and drinks throughout the flight. The new Premium Economy Class offers much more than merely a comfortable seat. Passengers in the new travel class can check in two pieces of luggage at no charge, each with an allowable weight of up to 50 lbs.Travelers can conveniently select their favorite food from the menu card, and the food is served on porcelain dishes. The award-winning Economy Class, furnished in various shades of blue, features special ergonomically-formed seat upholstery and provides travelers with more personal and storage space. The A350 Economy Class was conceived by the design bureau PearsonLloyd and was awarded the German Design Award 2018 by the German Design Council. Throughout the cabin, passengers can use their own mobile device as a second screen, as well as pre-select programs from the on-board entertainment system up to six weeks prior to flight time.Due to the aircraft’s particular construction, passengers reach their destination feeling more   well-rested.
