Management Promotions Announced by Britannica Knowledge Systems
Britannica Knowledge Systems has announced several promotions to its management team.
Asher Dagan, former VP product and marketing, has been appointed CEO replacing Yehuda Holzman. Dagan, who joined Britannica Knowledge Systems in 2000, has played a key role in leading the company’s strategic activities, working directly with customers on large projects to ensure customer success. He has also been instrumental in the product’s design and development, and his appointment is a natural step for both himself and the company.
“I’m very excited to take on this new role and for the future of the company,” said Dagan. “My mission is to ensure our customers get the most out of our product, and to deliver real value by providing the most advanced and innovative training management system – with a great user experience.”
Adi Silagy has been appointed VP Product. Silagy joined Britannica in 2007 as Chief Product Manager before becoming Head of Customer Solutions. He brings to the role his vast technical and industry knowledge, gained from working directly with every major Britannica customer across industries including civil aviation, defense, finance, government and education.
“The Product team will continue working closely with customers to understand their needs, ensure ease of use, and plan ongoing development to ensure Fox continues to lead the TMS market worldwide.” said Silagy. “I look forward to leading the development of our next generation of products to support the ever-changing challenges in customer training operations.”
Yair Pinyan has been appointed VP of R&D. Pinyan has over 20 years of experience in leading R&D organizations. He previously headed the MS Security Essentials product R&D at Microsoft and also co-founded a startup which delivered a SaaS solution on AWS. “Yair’s expertise in deep learning and artificial intelligence will be of great benefit to our R&D department,” said CEO Dagan. “I am certain that his leadership will facilitate the adoption and integration of the latest technologies in our R&D processes and boost innovation.”
These managerial changes will ensure Britannica Knowledge Systems remains focused on the success of our customers, the quality of our products and on developing advanced training management tools.
