Flight Schedule Pro Rolls Out Enhanced Reporting Capabilities
Flight Schedule Pro, a developer of the leading operations software platform for flight schools, has added a powerful new reporting capability that enables the creation of visual dashboards and customizable reports. Now, users can track key performance indicators and visualize large sets of data without having to run manual exports, thereby freeing them up to focus on big picture analysis of valuable data.
Flight Schedule Pro Product Manager Chris Hanf noted, “Since every flight school is unique, we really wanted to empower them to create their own reports and dashboards that address their unique needs. That’s what these enhancements to our reporting are all about.”
Flight Schedule Pro’s enhanced reporting capabilities give users a big picture view of their operations, while also enabling them to drill down into specific areas in order to better assess those data sets. The platform’s in-depth analysis grid provides easy access to a range of important data sets, from reservations, flights and training sessions, to invoices and aircraft. The enhanced reporting facilitates fast extraction of data for more complete analysis within the application. Filters can be saved for rapid access and data analysis grids distributed to preferred users within an organization.
Both standard and advanced reporting functionality is offered, with the advanced reporting option delivering additional functionality beyond the analysis grids, filters and publishing capabilities. This includes a report builder tool, schedule reports feature, custom dashboards that display what matters most to an organization at a glance, and other advanced functions. Among the more unique features of the advanced reporting option is the ability to schedule a customized report by simply dropping in recipients’ email addresses and then scheduling the report’s automatic distribution.
Flight Schedule Pro Co-Founder and CEO Jasen Barnes stated, “With its enhanced reporting capabilities, our next generation platform delivers a level of reporting functionality that helps flight school operators further optimize their operations. They can build customized dashboards and reports directly within the app, and further benefit from a user-friendly drag and drop element. It enables them to incorporate visuals in both their dashboards and reports and share that information with a click. Data then can be evaluated within minutes and applied to improve operations.”
Nicholas Lenczycki, Flight Operations Program Manager at Middle Tennessee State University commented on the new enhanced reporting, “This was not a requirement of our bid, but we knew the potential of a great reporting system. There is no point in adding every record to an electronic system if you cannot easily access that information, search that information, and view reports that provide you with analysis of your information. The reporting module comes with a suite of reports for each area that provided for the core needs of any flight operation.”
He continued, “While reporting was a bonus for us, Flight Schedule Pro has recently launched an update to the reporting functionality and that update is amazing. We can now build a custom analysis of most of the databases, combine databases for even more powerful analysis, create visuals of that analysis, and add those visuals to dashboards or reports. We can share dashboards or reports with different users. Reports can be scheduled to be sent via email automatically to whomever we want, however often we want, at whatever time we want. Flight Schedule Pro is customization. With the update, we recently created a report that shows revenue generation by hour for the last two months to analyze our dispatch staffing needs and to determine if an adjustment to our hours of operations is warranted.”
