D-Zolve 15-33 R is a high viscosity aircraft paint stripper and remover designed to serve as a safe replacement for hazardous methylene chloride-based strippers. It is noncarcinogenic, nonflammable, nonacidic, and contains no peroxides, chlorinated, or hydrogen embrittling components. It has minimal or no hazardous air pollution potential. Developed for use with spray equipment or for brush on application, D-Zolve 15-33 R provides superior performance in removing several layers of aircraft paints consisting of epoxy primer with cross-linked polyurethane top coats including MIL P23377 Epoxy or TTP 2760 Flexible Polyurethane and MIL C85285 Polyurethane topcoat, Fluid Resistant BMS10-11-V Type 1, BMS 10-60-H, BMS 10-7-9 and Desothane 6221T. It also removes topcoats with high solid content fluoride and other high solid content polyurethanes. D-Zolve 15-33 R penetrates aircraft paints to break the bond between the substrate and the paint primer. Once this bond is broken, a secondary action causes the paint to lift away from the substrate as a single film primer and top coat. It fully conforms to Boeing D6-17487M and to T.O. 1-1-8 including sandwich corrosion tests, immersion corrosion tests, hydrogen embrittlement tests, and more. It is U.S. Air Force approved. It can be safely used with aluminum, magnesium, stainless steel, carbon steel, cadmium coated steel, and titanium. Available in 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums, and 275-gallon totes.
