Sherwin-Williams Aerospace Coatings now offers a urethane primer and sanding surfacer. It provides production time savings opportunities as it can double as either a traditional sanding surfacer or as a primer. MROs and paint shops can now use one product for two purposes and will see increased benefits because it dries twice as fast as traditional epoxy surfacer technology. This latest primer/surfacer is a high performance, corrosion inhibitive urethane primer that contains no hexavalent chromium. Offering outstanding sandability, it meets lower VOC levels versus comparable aerospace MRO products while still providing a very high square foot of coverage per gallon.
