Gore Showcasing New and Time-Proven Solutions At 2019 Space Tech Expo
W. L. Gore & Associates will exhibit an extensive collection of qualified GORE Space Cables and Assemblies at the 2019 Space Tech Expo in Bremen, Germany on November 19-21 in Booth H50. Gore will also be a featured speaker on November 20th at 11:15 am CET.
On display will be GORE Space Cables that have been proven to be reliable in the harshest environments. These ESCC-qualified cables ensure non-stop power is distributed, and continuous high-speed data is transmitted at all times in critical systems. With small, lightweight, and flexible packages, they save valuable weight for critical subsystems in low-earth orbit (LEO) and geostationary earth orbit (GEO) applications.
Also highlighted will be GORE Spaceflight Microwave/RF Assemblies for high-power, high-frequency, high-flex, and high-density applications. Proven now and over time, these ESA-qualified cable assemblies with robust connector options ensure quality signals, low loss, excellent phase stability, and outstanding shielding effectiveness from DC to 40 GHz. Diameter sizes range from 1.2 mm (0.047 in) to 8.1 mm (0.320 in) to meet mass-driven or insertion loss application requirements. Gore also offers advanced solutions for thermal extremes, multipaction, low PIM (Passive Intermodulation), and radiation resistance.
Finally, Gore will showcase cost-effective solutions for the emerging NewSpace economy. These new cables and assemblies are qualified to appropriate NASA, ESA, and Technology Readiness Levels (TRL) specifications for NewSpace applications. Gore’s reliable, low-risk solutions can also meet program schedules varying from one to five years, such as global connectivity and Earth observation.
All of Gore’s solutions are engineered with robust materials that withstand extreme temperatures, harsh chemicals, cut-through, abrasion, material creep, atomic oxygen, and more. They have been thoroughly tested and approved according to stringent industry requirements for traditional space and NewSpace applications.
