3M flame retardant double-coated Tape 9377 offers business airline manufacturers and operators a clean and efficient solution to securely bond carpet to aircraft floorboards. The tape™s adhesive technology provides a strong bond but still allows clean removal from floorboards. 3M 9377 Tape tears-by-hand, which reduces the need to use a separate tool for cutting. The tape™s release liner allows the tape to be unwound with ease and protects the adhesive from collecting unwanted debris. The white-side of the tape adheres to the floorboards and is formulated to not leave residue once removed. The black-side of the tape, which adheres to the carpet, is formulated to create a stronger bond with the carpet™s uneven and rough back-side.
