The AeroPoint jacks utilize an all mechanical system to negate the ill effects of potential hydraulic failure as in common hydraulic jacks. This allows the jacks to maintain positive holding power at all times, during and after jacking. This eliminates the need for an operator to engage back-up safety holding devices which usually are effective after jacking only. The mechanical design further utilizes the benefit of cordless drills/drivers to power the jack. The use of modern 14.4v or 18v cordless drills (with a low speed range of 400-500 rpm with a minimum of 400 in-lbs)makes light work of lifting an aircraft. Included is a crank to operate the jacks manually. The compact design allows the operator to easily select the right height for the job. The jacks come in two sizes: short 23- to 45- inches and tall 34- to 76-inches and are on collapsing casters. The pyramid shape allows the stand to be filled with ballast to a maximum total weight of 500lbs. For mor einformation visit www.AeroPointInd.com.
