Armstrong Industrial Hand Tools now offers aviation ratchets. The new tools help aviation mechanics reach and turn limited-clearance fasteners easily. The 88-tooth ratcheting gear allows technicians to turn fasteners with a swing arc of just 4.1 degrees. Further improving access, the new ratchets feature a precision machined, low-profile head with a recessed reversing lever. Built specifically with aerospace in mind, the ratchets have a pass-through hole for tightening Hi-Lok® and other frangible collar fasteners. The pass-through hole is large enough to accommodate hex keys for fasteners with a nominal pin diameter of up to 1/4-inch. The ratchets also feature a retention ring located on the tang, allowing seamless sheet metal fastener engagement and convenient socket pull-off force. The ratchets are available in nine-position locking flex-head and static models. For more information visit armstrongtools.com.
