S.A.F.E Structure Designs, a global leader in the design, engineering and manufacturing of ergonomic safety-first aircraft maintenance stands, fall protection platforms, hangar equipment, portable field equipment and specialty tooling, has announced that they have been awarded the contract to manufacture a full line of maintenance platforms, hangar equipment and specialty tooling for the United States Army’s fleet of Apache AH-64’s in Fort Hood, Texas.
While S.A.F.E. Structure has been the military’s first choice for producing safety-first hangar equipment, the United States Army in particular has repetitively chosen S.A.F.E. not only because of S.A.F.E.’s reputation for quality products and exceptional customer service, but also for S.A.F.E.’s innovative design concepts. S.A.F.E. custom designs each of their products, first and foremost, for their customer's safety, but also for optimum ergonomic proficiency. S.A.F.E. Structure designers understand the capabilities and limitations of their customers. They factor in risks that lead to injuries and allows for improved performance and productivity. The Fort Hood Army is relying on S.A.F.E. to also manufacture cowling racks, doors racks and hellfire missile racks for their hangars.
“We do not take this responsibility lightly,” states Johnny Buscema, S.A.F.E. Structure’s president and CEO. “Our mission is always to provide the best quality products for our customers, but knowing that we are in a small way supporting our military armed forces, it makes us that much more proud and driven to be the best at what we do.”
