JLG Adds Focus to Low-level Access to Support Growing Demand

To lead this growing division and support low-level access customers, the company announced the promotion of Aaron Haynes to product marketing manager of JLG’s vertical and low-level access product lines in North America.

    JLG low-level access solutions offer a safe, efficient, and simple alternative to ladders and scaffolding. Equipment models include the eco-friendly, non-powered EcoLift series, the 830P push-around mast lift, andLiftPod® personal portable lifts.

    The JLG EcoLift 50 and EcoLift 70 are virtually maintenance-free, thanks to a patented stored power lift/lower system that requires no batteries, hydraulics, oils, or controls. In addition, they are easy to operate, environmentally friendly, and provide working heights of 10 feet 11 inches and 13 feet 2 inches, respectively, by simply turning a handle to move the platform up or down. The lifts’ lightweight design makes them easy to push around a job site. Both models are rated for 330-pound capacity, leaving room for materials and tools to boost productivity. And, because there are no hydraulics or motors involved, the eco-friendly lifts are virtually silent, making them a preferred piece of equipment for finish work on construction sites or even as maintenance access equipment in schools, hospitals, and other institutions.

    The 830P push-around mast lift uses hydraulics to lift operators to a working height of 14 feet and offers workers a generous 29- by 39-inch platform featuring 440 pounds of capacity. A lightweight design makes it easy for operators to push the lift into position, making it ideal for finish work and sensitive floor applications.

    The LiftPod personal portable lifts offer plant and facility maintenance workers a secure platform and the ability to work 360 degrees with both hands at heights of up to 20 feet. The LiftPod consists of only a few key components for simple assembly and disassembly, increasing portability between work sites. A convenient tool tray increases jobsite productivity, with a total platform capacity of 330 pounds.
